That's All Folks!

So, this is it. In a few hours my freedom is over and drum corps. begins. I know my big is going to read that and he will get chills thinking about this upcoming season. But right now all of the fears are in me. I'm going to get them out before I go to bed. I have to decide this is what I want to do, because as my band director taught me, I can do anything...that I want to do. Time has flown by! I pray I'm ready for this, but no turning back. I think about competition and I get excited! There is a certain someone out there that I did not get to talk to before tonight, and if she reads this then great, but I'm going to get this out of my system now, so hold on people:

To this person, I like you. I've liked you ever since we were Freshman in high school. I was either too scared to tell you, or when I would finally build up the nerve you were dating someone else, and I couldn't tell you then. You are the only girl I've ever been attracted to that I could feel comfortable around. Any girl I've dated or been interested in had to live up to you as a standard, and none have passed. I don't know what else I can say, except that I love you. You are a wonderful friend, and if that's all we'll ever be then fine, but I would love to have a chance at more...

Ok, I feel better about that, now if I can get the balls to tell her in person or even on the phone. Well, time to meditate before sleep. I'll catch you all in about 3 months on here, so take it easy and don't forget to BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The Half-Way Point!

2 days till move-in! Got my grades back yesterday, and this semester is the highest G.P.A I've ever had with a 3.9! I made an A in all of my classes except Percussion which was a B, called it. But I'm thrilled to have an A in instrumental conducting, that makes me smile :D. Speaking of things that make me smile, so I went out with someone last night. And I enjoyed every minute of it. I don't know if she's interested in dating, and if she's not fine because she is a great friend to have. But let me tell you, Perfect doesn't even begin to describe her! Maybe Perfection squared, or to the infinite power or something outrages like that would. And if you'd like to know any more, well you'll just have to call ;). All right, I'm gone so take it easy!

Relaxing and Taking Care of Business!

So, first I must say that Blue Collar TV is extremely hilarious. Now, it's the first and only week off I have before tour, and even though I have a lot of stuff to do, I'm still getting to relax. Thank goodness I am catching up on sleep, because that is the one thing I won't get on tour! I'm also doing some training this week, who would have thought that I would be getting into shape?! And once again I have to say that Blue Collar TV is beautimous! But yes, I have to say getting into shape is going to be the best thing for me, I feel so much better already, and I'll probably drop 50-70lbs. over tour! I plan on doing a before and after picture on here too, I'll take a picture Friday and put it on here, and the post a picture when I get back...should be interesting ;). So, Francis has a date! Well, at least two friends going on a date if nothing else, but it makes me happy :D. The one girl I've liked ever since I was a freshman in high school, but I could never do anything! Whenever I did build up the nerve she would already be dating someone else, but now I get a second chance and this time I plan on not being stupid with it!
Tonight Richard and I went to the high school track and did some running. And after we finished there we went to Applebee's and had dinner. We sat there and talked after we finished eating for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours! It was some good bonding with a best friend. Plus, we had to solve the world's problems, right bro? lol
Hopefully grades will be posted tomorrow, I believe I did well, but I'll just have to wait and see. Percussion will probably be the lowest grade, and that will most likely be a B, I should have done better, but there were not many grades in the class. I liked this semester, but I'm so glad it's over. With a camp every month it was very hard for me to manage my time. I hope that next year will be different, but being the FEO for 3 probationary classes is going to be something! One in the fall, one in the spring, and then the colony in Marshal. Luckily, Jeremy Quave at Marshal is an active member and is there real FEO I just have to supervise. What else did I do this semester? Sorry, for the long post but I decided now that school is out I can post :). I will be getting my horn after tour! I'm so happy that I'm going to find my Calliorema! Oh, and to end this post Calliorema mean "Beautimous Music!", take it easy!

Coming to a Close...

So, I am soon to be finished with all my applied classes, the only one to finish is Percussion and that will be done Thursday of Finals Week. I'll be done with the History sequence and Conducting after finals also. Wow, I can't believe I'm almost done with all of my music classes...kind of sad to look back on them. Most are going very well though. All are A's, except maybe percussion, that could be a B. So housing for next year...that's been a roller coaster. So we were planning on moving off campus, myself, Josh, and Calvin. But then the University decides that they will not allow people who are out-of-state and receive in-state tuition to live off campus, Calvin. And people who receive scholarships from the University cannot live off campus either, me. So that's a giant monkey wrench in the works. Our solution at the moment, we are trying to get us 3 plus Tharp into Mays Apartments. It would be $200 a month for each of us, and that's a heck of a lot cheaper than any places in Morehead. So, God willing we can get into Mays for the fall. But the summer is what is really hurting. Since I'm on tour, Matt K was going to live with Calvin and Josh, and then when he left I'd move in. So those 3 paid a security deposit that now we think maybe non-refundable. I don't remember him saying that, and they didn't sign any papers, so I'm hoping when we explain the situation and the fact that after they paid the University sprung this on us...not even in the middle of the semester, but last week! I wonder how many other people got screwed in this deal. But it'll all work out, some day or night. I also came to the conclusion that after finals, I have one week at home, and then the next Saturday is Move In! Wow, I can't believe it will be here so soon. I hope I can do it. The longest I've ever been away from home is about a month, and now I'll be gone 3! It should be a great experience and learning tool...plus I'll come back as half a Francis, lol. All right, that's it for now, take it easy!
