All the way to the Bank!

Wow, so this semester is starting out just as busy as usual. Things are going well though. Dr. Baker believes I'm sounding great on the Strauss Horn Concerto...but I'm too d@mn loud, according to her, and she's right so I'm fixing that. My classes are going well so far. Class Percussion can be hilarious with Mr. Oddis, it makes me glad I'm not a percussion major so I get to see Nice Frank. And I'm lucky that I have a natural talent for percussion, so I shouldn't struggle, like someone I know...big. Adv. Woodwinds is going ok right now, I'm learning the saxomophone. EDF 211 is really cool, but there is this random guy in there that won't shut up! I want to go up to him in class and go "Just shut up! Shut up! You see what I'm doing?! You see this! Gosh, keep it to yourself every once and awhile!" It wouldn't be nearly as bad if it was useful talking but it's just him stating what he thinks about the matter, when the teacher doesn't ask for opinions! She is trying to give us notes and he is wasting our time! Ok, now that that's over, this whole week has been Rush week for Phi Mu Alpha, and so far it has gone very well. Tonight's activity is bowling, but before I go over there I had to do some homework and I have to go make a tape for my camp tomorrow. I also may be the new assistant FEO this year, it's between Moose, Devon, Calvin, and myself. I really would like to get this position because I want to be FEO next year. Well, that's it for now. I'll post about camp next week, and a little more about my classes, so take it easy!

Back in the Saddle

Well ladies and gents I'm back in da'Head. I got everything moved in, and I'm ready to start the new semester. Josh made the comment last night that it almost felt like we never left, and it does have that feeling. Just picking up where we left off, and hopefully things will go even better than last semester. It's time for some change, time to let old jokes die and new jokes be born. And hopefully this semester they won't be stupid jokes...NO POOP JOKES THIS YEAR JOSH! Well, that's all for now, everyone take it easy!

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Welcome to a brand new year ladies and gents! I hope it has gone as well for you all as it has been for me. So, the title is definitely from the movie Fat Albert. If you haven't seen it yet, you should go now, just stop reading and go! The people who made the film did a very good job of portraying the original cartoon ideas, and the actors played the roles wonderfully. Of course, I guess I'm partial to movies where the fat man wins :D. So this weekend, I'm going over to London (KY) to play in a concert band John Johnson put together. It'll be great to see a bunch of my Morehead buddies, and to play in an ensemble for fun. I'm talking with my big right now, who better post before he gets off line! Well, that's about all that's happened here. I'll write something up about the concert sometime next week, till then take it easy!
